The art of Cianjur’s Batik centres the mind and liberates the heart through creativity. Explore the simple and excitingprocess of batik painting. It will enable you to create a rewarding piece of art to bring home from your travels in Cianjur.
Your teacher is Cianjur batik artist Dani Kutil. In this unique batik painting workshop, Kutil will help you use this ancient art form to create contemporary designs. Kutil's gentle and patient instruction helps the student create physically the images that all of us carry in our hearts; his workshops are specifically tailored for each group or individual.
All the action takes place in the studio Kutil's gallery.
There's plenty of room to move about, if and when you need to take time out and think about your master piece.

Learn traditional Cianjuran Batik with Cianjur artist and teacher Dani Kutil at his studio. Courses may be from 1 to 3 days duration 2 hours in a day. The rate is Rp, 300.000 and includes:

- Intro to the story of Batik

- Materials and tools

- Learning Batik technique with chanting and brush

- Hand painting and dip dyeing in sequence

- Wax removal

All resulting in your own, handmade, piece of batik art!

Regular Classes are held on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from 1pm - 3pm.
